සුපහන් පැතුම් සපුරන මල් පියලි   නෙලා
නව අවුරුදු කුමරුන් එන මගට   වෙලා
යුතුකම ඉටු කරන්නට අපි   නොපිරි‍හෙලා
සැරසි සිටිමු පිලිගන්නට සිනහ      සලා
